> PLANNED AND ART ESTATE GIVING AND KEEPING AND GROWING
"What you give is yours forever. What you keep is lost for all time."
Omar Sharif

I enjoyed an extremely promising meeting this morning with an art-friendly representative of A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc.

Our general topic of conversation involved finding ways to make one another's clients aware of what we do, and what it means to THEM that there soon become a serious collaboration between the "sides."

This enterprise is not as simple as it might seem... which is why it has not happened prior to now.

Stay tuned.

> DUST ART
Got this rather amazing piece of visual information from Connie Champagne, of Saginaw, who found it somewhere... it reminded me again of Marcel Duchamp's "dust raising" done for his Large Glass... only more so.

> MISSOURI SOUTHERN STATE UNIVERSITY - Lecture Series
MSSU in Joplin, through their INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES, produces a number of noteworthy (and FREE!!!) art-related lectures:
"French Cinema: What do you know about it?" September 14th
"What's Dada/Surrealism?" September 28th
"Picasso's Problem" September 29th
"Ocular Anxiety and the Pink Tea Cup: Edgar Degas's Woman with a Bandaged Eye" November 10th
"Unmasking Manet's Morisot" November 10th

In addition, the university's SPIVA ART GALLERY on campus will present "Printmaking from the French Avant Garde" from August 28 - September 22.

I certainly plan on attending every single one of those!
